Set deep within the birch groves and balsam firs of Hidden Pond, Jessica and Rex’s wedding embraced the quiet richness of an early Maine autumn.
The couple envisioned florals that felt unconventional yet seasonal. Duotone calla lilies, brain celosia, cascading amaranthus in green and bordeaux, black-eyed Susans, and bunny tail grass formed the backbone of the arrangements. These were layered with sepia-edged green hydrangea, dill stems, and soft blue delphinium to create compositions that felt wild, textural, and just a bit unpolished.
A mile-long chamomile table runner became one of the most defining elements of the day. Chosen for its meaning and its scent, it filled the reception space with a subtle herbal fragrance that added another sensory layer to the experience. Black-framed rattan tables, chairs, and bar elements echoed the structure of the tent and grounded the florals with a sleek, natural contrast.
From the ceremony installations to Jessica’s bouquet, each element was drawn from the same material language. The result was a celebration that felt immersive and rooted, where florals, furnishings, and setting came together to create an atmosphere that was both intimate and unmistakably Maine.
