Eclectic, Color-Blocked Vineyard
North Stonington, Connecticut
Inspired by each bridesmaid’s eclectic outfit, this elegant celebration was built entirely around color blocking.
Color appeared most vividly in the moments guests interacted with directly. Coordinated bud vases doubled as escort cards and takeaways, guiding guests to their seats and inviting them to bring a piece of the celebration home. Seven color-coordinated cakes accompanied each table, reinforcing the palette and adding an unexpected layer of surprise and delight.
The ceremony set the tone with a rainbow half-circle installation built directly into the grass, composed of flowers sourced from around the world. This bold, polychromatic gesture carried through the day, from a dramatic hanging floral installation suspended above a checkerboard dance floor to a whimsical floral photobooth that completed the experience.
Together, the details created a vibrant, expressive environment where color led the story from start to finish.
